Are You Looking to Improve Teacher Morale and Staff Retention Rates?

(especially if your teachers are uninspired by traditional "PD" days and tired of constantly training "new hires")

Imagine a Scenario Where:

  • Your school could attract and retain the best candidates based on the reputation of your positive campus culture
  • Staff (including you!) leave campus each day at a reasonable time and still have energy left for their family and other things they love.
  • Staff have practical science-based tools available to help reduce stress and overwhelm.
  • Staff connect with students in a way that increases engagement and puts fun and passion back in your classrooms.
  • And what if it only took 15 minutes a week with ZERO prep from you?

Yes, It Is Possible!

Smart school leaders recognize that positive student outcomes start with a teaching staff that is motivated, experienced and able to bring the best of themselves to their classrooms every day. Providing your teachers with the skills and tools they need to make teaching less stressful and more sustainable is the best investment you can make in your school: teachers benefit, students benefit and (let's be honest) your job will be a lot easier. Everyone wins!

Travis M. - Principal

"If you are looking for a great staff PD that is engaging, positive, and supports your team's social/emotional well-being, then look no further than Grace Stevens. Grace left staff feeling inspired, motivated and focused on having a successful school year and provided them with the practical tools to ensure that her ideas were actionable and sustainable. So much more than a positivity pep talk; her advice was real-world and relevant. Teachers talked about her presentation for months afterward."

Shari P. - Finalist Utah Teacher of the Year

" I just feel like [Grace has] the magic key to making this profession sustainable, and I would like ALL teachers to hold that key in their hands."

Meet your Coach

I'm Grace. In 2002 I traded in a cushy corporate career for life as a public school teacher. After years of anxiety, depression, and burnout in the corporate world, teaching was like a breath of fresh air! Teaching was a joy - and easy. Until it wasn't.

Pretty soon I was overworked, overwhelmed and back on the road to burnout. I realized I didn't need to change careers again, I needed to change ME.  I needed to take responsibility and learn how to set healthy boundaries, prioritize, protect myself from negativity and control the things I could control. None of these were skills I had learned in teacher training.

I became obsessed with studying NLP, positive psychology, cognitive-behavioral therapy and emotional intelligence. I learned how to hack my mindset with simple habits to put the joy back in my classroom and in my life. Other teachers noticed, and urged me to share my "secrets."

In 2018, I turned those habits into a best-selling book, "Positive Mindset Habits for Teachers". I'm so happy now to support your staff with a comprehensive program based on this material.

It's simple: happier teachers = happier classrooms and campus culture. All of which, of course, leads to better student outcomes.

What's the  REAL cost?

Every teacher loves a "jeans day" or bagels in the staff room. But when was the last time that they left a district-sponsored professional development feeling MORE EMPOWERED and excited to learn how to take more things OFF their over-burdened plate?

The reason that in the last ten years the most popular classes in the top Ivy League schools have been about "how to be happier" is no accident. Research has shown that happier, less stressed employees are more productive, more creative and have better mental and physical health.

When I coach teachers, one of the things I hear a lot is that they are fed up with being told to prioritize "self-care" without being given any tools, skills or resources to do so. By investing in this type of training, you are proving that you truly care about teachers.

We know that it's getting harder to retain great teachers. Many are burning out and leaving. But what about those who are burning out and staying?  The cost of recruiting, hiring and training new teachers is very high. The perception of constant turnover is also bad to parents and board members. The invisible cost of poor campus morale is harder to measure and potentially potentially much higher.

This program delivers an easy and cost-effective way to empower teachers to take responsibility for their mental and emotional health, and all the tools to get them there.
